Interview

Since when have you been involved in music and how did you decide to start?

I have been involved in music since I was 7 years old. I have no particular memories of why I decided, but certainly one of the reasons is that I liked to recreate what I hear.

Which song do you remember most vividly from your childhood?

The brightest song - Erotomania by Dream Theater

Who are the artists you have listened to and played the most?

Slayer, Sepultura, Death, Obituary, Metallica, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avenged Sevenfold, AC / DC, U2, Destiny's Child ... an awful lot of bands and styles, because that's my job playing with different groups and projects.

In which musical style are you most advanced?

Funk, fusion, progressive, rock, heavy metal, thrash metal, alternative, pop, R&B.

What does music give you?

Music gives me the opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings, emotions and moods. I live with music every hour and this is my life.

Why did you decide to start teaching music?

I like to pass on my knowledge and skills to people who want to learn and develop and to see that my work during all these years can be useful for others. So I create musicians who in turn will create music.

What is the most important thing to learn in music?

To learn to recreate, through your instrument, what you feel and feel. And when you play - to merge and breathe together with the music you make or listen to and then want to repeat.

What is RockSchool for you?

A place where you can make the wishes and dreams of children and people come true, who want to do and make music and through the experience and love that teachers have - to pass this on to their students so that more musicians and new music can be born. A place for realization for both teachers and students.

Which music is valuable to you?

Every music is valuable to me, I don't limit myself in style. There is something to learn and hear everywhere. Except the chalga.

Do you have a dream related to music?

To have dreams - to create more and more drummers and to play with Linkin Park :)
