How long have you been making music and how did you decide to start?
I started taking solfege and violin lessons in elementary school. It wasn't long before I realised I was enjoying imitating some of the beats of the songs that were playing on MTV and bought a set of drumsticks.
What song do you remember most vividly from your childhood?
Blink 182 - What's my age again.
Who are the artists you've listened to and played the most?
Dave Weckl, Travis Barker, Virgil Donati, Sean Rickman, Eric Moore, Chris Coleman, Gergo Borlai, Joey Jordison.
Which musical style are you most advanced in?
Funk, Rock, Drum and Bass, Folk.
What does music give you?
Lots of happiness hormones and development of thought in a philosophical sense.
Why did you decide to start teaching music?
Because I've had extensive practice with different styles of music, I've played many festivals, club stages, made many studio recordings and I'm sure I'll be able to pass on this musical experience to anyone who wants to learn.
What is the most important thing to learn in music?
Patience, persistence in practicing and the ability to think one - two seconds (maybe more) ahead in time.
What is RockSchool to you?
A very enjoyable music place with an academic and friendly environment.
What music is valuable to you?
Music is a personal experience for each person. You either like something or you don't.
What's the most extravagant thing you've listened to lately?
Meshuggah - one of the ten heaviest bands on the planet.
Do you have a dream related to music?
To tour the summer music festivals of Europe and Japan at least twice, but not as part of the audience.
