Why did you decide to start teaching music?
It is my inner need. I first felt it in Beijing, China, where I played with a jazz trio in a famous 5 star hotel. During a Chinese holiday, a family from Beijing visited the hotel and the lobby bar. At one point, the father of two young Chinese boys came up and said his children would really like me to teach them piano. This unlocked this need in me. The challenge of teaching, seeing the results, the successes, even the failures of it. An incredible feeling, I would say a calling, a part of my life I can't do without!
