Interview

How long have you been acting and how did you decide to start?

I've been acting since 2000, when I was accepted to NATFA. I decided to start, at a crisis point in my life, when I realized that it was something I had always wanted to do (since I was a kid), but I didn't have the courage. At that moment I realized it was time to start making my dreams come true, as no one is without surprises.

Who are the artists that inspire you the most?

The list of artists that have inspired and continue to inspire me is huge, but some of them are: Leda Taseva, Stefan Danailov (my teacher),Maria Kavardzhikova, Radena Valkanova, Ana Papadopoulou, Elena Telbis, Maria Bakalova, Meryl Streep, Jessica Chastain, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Jack Nicholson, Timothee Chalamet, Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro... Al Jarreau, David Bowie, The Beatles, U2, The Smile - Thom Yorke, Tears For Fears, Mick Jagger, Parcels, Pink Floyd, Jamie Cullum, Coldplay.

Which music style is your favourite?

Jazz, rock and pop music.

What does music and theatre give you?

Music, film, theatre and art in general are powerful inspirations for my personality.

Why did you decide to start teaching?

It has turned out to bring me as much joy as when I am the artist.

What is the most important thing to learn in acting?

Observation, good diction, the ability to psychologically understand, feel, "get into the skin" of the character.

What is RockSchool for you?

For me, it's a dream come true, a challenge and the eagerness of the upcoming meeting with new students = inspiration.

What music is valuable to you?

I will say that for me, an artist who brings value is one who communicates their skill with all their soul, a dash of talent and good taste.

What's the most extravagant thing you've listened to lately?

"The Beatles' new song "Now and Then," along with the video. John's voice was extracted with AI and with thanks to the great director Peter Jackson.

Do you have a dream related to music?

I have a dream related to film - I want to play.
